Meet Corinna and Jeff, two beautiful people inside and out. I had the pleasure of photographing Corinna’s brother, Derick’s wedding a couple of years back and now I have the pleasure of getting the call whenever the family needs photos. Corinna’s parents, Cheri and Rick, have a beautiful estate in the Mount Helix area of San Diego. It is complete with a classic Spanish style stucco home with lots of terracotta roofs, archways, and gorgeous gardens. It is probably one of my favorite places to have ever photographed a wedding. I started with prep photos and portraits of the guys in the garden and around the estate. After completing that photo session of the gentlemen, it was off to Corinna and the gals for some detail photos, hair and makeup photos, and then after the dress went on – some fun portraits of Corinna and her bridesmaids. Next, the beautiful Santa Sophia Catholic Church in Casa De Oro, a small suburb of San Diego for the ceremony. After the ceremony and some family portraits at the altar, we headed back to the family home for more fun and photos. The reception was a great party, complete with dancing and plenty of libations. We finished the night with one of my favorites, the backlit night photos. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Corinna and Jeff’s wedding, and I look forward to happy hour with these two soon! Thanks for checking out the blog. All the best, Brett.
